Introducing Caddis

Procedural power, on familiar ground.

Familiar by design.

The timeline works like a timeline. Layers stack. Keyframes interpolate. If you've spent any time in motion software, you can open Caddis and start working.

A node graph inside every layer.

Select a layer; its node graph sits beside the timeline. Wire parameters together, build effects from primitives, replace expressions with visual logic. Procedural control, built in.

  • Animate

Drive any value with any other value. Link rotation to scale, scale to audio, audio to color. The timeline still does what timelines do — but every parameter is a node you can wire, modulate, or replace.

  • Composite

Compositing, the way it should work. Real blending, masking, and matte work in a node graph that doesn't pretend to be something else. Build looks from primitives. Reuse them across layers and projects.

  • AI where it actually helps.

Depth maps, segmentation masks, mattes — generated as nodes, fed straight into your graph. Not a chatbot, not a generator. Just primitives that used to be expensive, now available where you need them.

  • The viewport keeps up. So does the export.

GPU-native rendering means your viewport responds as fast as you can iterate. Export to standard formats — ProRes, image sequences, MP4 — without leaving the tool.
